Terms of Use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Welcome to CPR & First Aid Training School (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this website, registering for a class, attending training (in person or online), or using any materials we provide, you agree to these Terms of Use.
What we do
We provide CPR, First Aid, BLS, and related certification training to help individuals and organizations get certified and build practical emergency-response skills. Our goal is education and certification support — not medical care.
Not medical advice — information only
We are not doctors, and nothing on this website or in our classes is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Course content, videos, handouts, and online materials are for informational and training purposes only. Always follow current emergency protocols and seek licensed medical professionals when someone is injured or ill.
Use at your own risk
Participation in training and any later use of CPR, First Aid, or related skills is at your own risk. Real emergencies are unpredictable. Outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including the situation, the person needing help, available equipment, and how techniques are applied.
Assumption of risk & waiver of liability
By using our site or services, you understand and agree that:
- Hands-on practice may involve physical activity (for example, compressions on the floor) and carries a risk of strain or injury.
- You are responsible for deciding whether you are physically able to participate and for telling the instructor about any limitations.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CPR & First Aid Training School, its owners, instructors, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from your use of this website, attendance in class, reliance on training materials, or any attempt to render aid after training.
- You release and hold us harmless from claims related to training participation or post-training use of skills, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Insurance
We maintain business insurance through Hiscox as part of operating our training school. Having insurance does not change the fact that training and the use of lifesaving skills remain at your own risk, and it does not create any guarantee of outcome in an emergency.
Website & online materials
We try to keep schedules, pricing, and course information accurate, but content may change without notice. We are not responsible for temporary outages, third-party links, or errors on the site. Online courses and accounts are for authorized students only.
Photos, video & audio recording
By attending any of our classes (in person or online), you consent to audio-visual recording. We may take photographs, video, and/or audio during training for educational use, quality control, marketing, social media, our website, and related promotional materials.
You grant CPR & First Aid Training School a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your image, likeness, and voice in those recordings without further notice or compensation, unless a different written agreement applies. If you do not want to appear on camera, tell your instructor before class begins so we can try to accommodate you when reasonably possible.
Certification cards
Certification is issued based on successful completion of the applicable course requirements. Employers and licensing boards set their own acceptance rules. If you are unsure which card you need, contact us before you enroll.
